This digital scale is affordable and accurate. It’s one of our faves! Our friends at Serious Eats prefer using a baking steel over a pizza stone. I have both, and agree that a baking steel ($102) makes excellent pizza. But if you want to start at a lower price point, go for the pizza stone! Buy it: Wooden pizza peel, $26 from Amaon If you’re unsure about investing in a pizza stone and pizza peel just yet, but still want to make great pizza at home, opt for cast iron skillet pizza instead. Cast iron can handle the blazing hot oven temperature you need (500°F or more) for truly terrific homemade pizza, so it’s a great place to start. If you opt for sheet pan pizza, we recommend trying our Meat Lovers’ Sheet Pan Pizza, Spinach and Artichoke Sheet Pan Pizza, or our Sheet Pan Pizza with Roasted Cauliflower and Greens. Buy it: Gozney Roccbox, $499 from Gozney
