Fried Green Beans
A lot of people love green beans. But like so many other vegetables, the traditional version of these greens sometimes get a bad reputation with kids (and some adults). One of the biggest culprits is serving green beans that are too soft. Luckily, we have the solution. These lightly fried green beans are so addicting, especially when you dip them in our tasty lemon dill dip. You will have no problem getting your kids to eat their veggies when you serve these with dinner. These green beans are lightly battered and fried in a shallow pan of hot oil, which cooks the beans but still leaves them with a nice crunch. No one wants soggy droopy green beans.
Make it a Meal
These Fried Green Beans are great as a side dish to just about any meal. I especially like them with grilled meat, like our New York Steaks or Grilled Balsamic Chicken. I often serve green beans with meatloaf. But if you want to mix things up you will enjoy the Fried Green Beans served alongside this Claim Jumper Meatloaf. Another great option is to try these Instant Pot Pork Chops and Gravy or this delicious Honey Baked Ham copycat. All great options to try.
