Reese’s Pieces Cookies

These Reese’s Pieces Cookies are a favorite quick cookie recipe at our house. Colorful Reese’s Pieces candies combined with chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups and peanut butter chips all in a chocolaty cookie dough make the best combination when you have a sweet tooth. My kids go crazy for anything chocolate and peanut butter so these are their top choice when it comes to cookie baking. They love to help chop up their favorite candy and add them to the dough. This is a perfect recipe for using up leftover Halloween candy too!

This cookie dough could not be easier to make, because you use a cake mix! If you’ve never used boxed cake mixes for cookies, I encourage you to try this recipe! Just add a few ingredients including butter or oil, eggs, extra sugar if needed and some water to the mix and your cookie dough is done! It’s fudgy, chocolaty, chewy and so yummy! I love using devil’s food cake mix for added density but you can use any chocolate cake mix that you have on hand. With this easy cookie dough as a base you can add just about anything to it to create your favorite cookie treat. I like to dig through my kids’ Halloween candy for inspiration. Chop up just about any candy bar and create dozens of your favorites, like:
