Sweet and Spicy Noodles with Grilled Chicken

My mother-in-law, Mary Ann, made these sweet and spicy noodles for us way back when Beau and I were first married. Talk about a great welcome into the family! I had to get the recipe, it has the best flavor! Over the years we have made a few minor adjustments, tweaking it here and there. This version is our favorite way to make it, so of course we wanted to share it with you! Actually, we shared it once before. It has been on the blog for a long time in its more original form. But all that tweaking and updating, I figured that we have changed it enough over the years that it was time for a re-post.

Can I Use Another Kind of Meat?

Yes. Definitely. We love using the grilled chicken, but we have also made this recipe using shrimp and both are really good! My oldest daughter says this is in her top 5 favorite foods.We haven’t tried it with beef or pork, but if you try it that way, be sure to leave a comment and let us know how it works out.
