RECIPE: Maple Syrup This is undoubtedly one of my all time favorite syrup recipes. It is basically liquid gold. It is richer and creamier than maple syrup, and it tastes like vanilla ice cream with caramel sauce. My kids love to eat this syrup over pancakes, waffles, French toast, and fruit. But, whenever I make it we save a little to serve over ice cream as well. Overall, it takes minutes to make and it is seriously delicious.

RECIPE: Buttermilk Syrup This syrup recipe has just a few easy ingredients: strawberries, sugar, water, and lemon juice. You can get fancy and add vanilla extract, but in my honest opinion, it just doesn’t complement the taste of the strawberries. I really don’t think it is needed. Try it over our Protein Pancakes for a well-rounded breakfast.

RECIPE: Strawberry Syrup When you take the syrup off the stove, you will notice that it is quite runny. This is normal. You can serve it right away and it will taste great. However, if you want a thicker syrup and a consistency like in the pictures, you will want to let it cool completely. If you want to hurry this process, you can place it in the refrigerator for 30-40 minutes or until it gets to the thickness you are looking for.

RECIPE: Coconut Syrup We have three ways to make blueberry syrup. First, as a thick syrup where no straining or blending is required. Second, as a smooth blended syrup that is more like a sauce. Finally, our third method is a simple syrup method where the blueberries are mashed and strained and the syrup is more clear.
