Disney World Restaurant Reservations

Reservations at the best Disney World restaurants can be made up to 6 months (180 days) in advance and they fill up as soon as they become available. If you are heading to Disney, here are some tips to getting in to your favorite dining locations. Reservation Tips:

Advanced planning is key. We like to map out which parks to visit on certain days, then make dining reservations to fit our plan.Make reservations for the night you get to Orlando at one of the restaurants in Disney Springs. This adorable shopping and dining district is free to visit and offers free parking too, so it’s a perfect place to wander and eat the night before you get started in the parks.Reservations can be made on the Disney World App or online here: Walt Disney World Restaurants and Reservations. Don’t panic if you can’t get the reservation you wanted right away. People drop their reservations all the time so keep checking your Disney World app.Check with the restaurant in person; if they aren’t full they sometimes take stand-by.

Disney Dining Plans

If you’re staying at one the Disney World resorts you have access to purchase Disney dining plans that can save you money on food during your visit. Track your dining plan on the Disney World app and even order ahead with mobile ordering. Right now there are four dining plans to choose from:

You really can’t go wrong at the dining locations across Disney World, but there are some locations that are truly exceptional. This list is some of the Best Disney World Restaurants in each of the Disney theme parks, at Disney Springs, and at the Disney resorts and hotels.

MAGIC KINGDOM RESTAURANTS

Be Our Guest Restaurant

Location: Fantasyland, back between Small World and the Seven Dwarfs Mine TrainDescription: Dine inside the Beast’s castle, my favorite spots are in the ballroom or the west wing. The dinner menu is a fixed price format that includes an appetizer, main entree, and dessert. And at dinner you can meet the Beast! What to get: The grey stuff, it’s delicious! French Onion Soup, Scallops, and Filet are all very good! For lunch the French Dip and Croque Monsieur Sandwiches are great choices. For breakfast go for Croque Madame or Croissant Doughnuts.

Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen

Location: Adventureland, across from the Swiss Family TreehouseDescription: Bold flavors from the Jungle Cruise rivers: Asia, South America, and Africa. Exploration and Adventure themed atmosphere. What to get: Favorites were the Orinoco Ida’s Cachapas, Tastes like Chicken, Whole Fried Fish, and Kungaloosh.

The Crystal Palace

Location: In the main Castle hub, near the entrance to AdventurelandDescription: An all you can eat American-style buffet with characters from Winnie the Pooh. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (but the breakfast is the best in my opinion). What to get: For breakfast don’t miss the Winnie the Pooh’s Puffed French Toast and Breakfast Lasagna.

EPCOT RESTAURANTS

Le Cellier Steakhouse

Location: Canada, in the World ShowcaseDescription: Arguably the best steakhouse in Disney World. Tasty Canadian cuisine in a charming atmosphere. What to get: The Poutine (always!), Cheddar Cheese Soup, Filet Mignon and Maple Creme Brûlée.

Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria

Location: Italy, in the World ShowcaseDescription: Authentic Italian Cuisine – some of the best Italian food at Disney World. What to get: Authentic Neapolitan wood-fired Pizza, Chicken Parmesan, Cannolo Siciliano, and Gel.

San Angel Inn Restaurant

Location: Mexico, in the World ShowcaseDescription: Located inside the Mayan ruins in the Mexico pavilion, this restaurant has such a fun always night-time atmosphere with river boats floating by. Not to mention the food is incredible. What to get: Queso Fundido, Guacamole, Combinación Mexicana, Mole Poblano, Mousse de Chocolate, and Flan de Coco.

Spice Road Table

Location: Morocco, in the World ShowcaseDescription: Tasty Mediterranean small plates and specialty entrées. Also beautiful views of the lake and the perfect location for watching the fireworks in Epcot at night.What to get: Brie Fondue, Hummus Fries, Mix Grill Skewers, Three Lamb Sliders, and Chocolate Pyramid.

Space 220 Restaurant (Coming Soon!)

Location: Future WorldDescription: Travel 220 miles above the earth to dine among the stars at a modern American cuisine restaurant. What to get: Menu has not been released yet but is highly anticipated!

DISNEY’S ANIMAL KINGDOM RESTAURANTS

Tiffins Restaurant Location: Discovery IslandDescription: A globetrotting restaurant with food from far off places! Fine dining menu of amazing exotic cuisines, this is not one for kids or picky eaters.  What to get: The Bread Service, Spiced Chickpea Falafel, Lobster Mac & Cheese, Butter Chicken, Tamarind-Braised Short Rib, Surf and Turf, The Lion Kind, and Mascarpone Cheesecake.   *Tiffins is also right next to the Nomad Lounge which has the best churros in Disney World with dipping sauces.

Tusker House Restaurant

Location: AfricaDescription: Family buffet style character dining with an African theme and flavors! Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! What to get: For breakfast don’t miss the Zebra Coffee Cake and Banana Pudding. For dinner you will love the Curry Dishes, Samosas with Tzatzki Sauce, Pitas, Hummus, and Strawberry Cake.

Yak & Yeti Restaurant

Location: AsiaDescription: Yummy Pan-Asian cuisine in a fun Nepal style atmosphere. What to get: Pot Stickers, Firecracker Shrimp, Korean Fried Chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Korean BBQ Ribs, Chicken Tikka Masala, Coconut Shrimp, Mango Pie, and Pineapple Upside Down Cake.

DISNEY’S HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS RESTAURANTS

50’s Prime Time Cafe

Location: Echo LakeDescription: Home cooked comfort food in a 50’s style atmosphere. Your server is also from the 50’s and will get after you for putting your elbows on the table! So be sure to mind your manners! What to get: Dad’s Stuffed Pork Chop, Mom’s Old-fashioned Pot Roast, Aunt Liz’s Golden Fried Chicken, Warm Apple Crisp, and an Old-Fashioned Chocolate Shake (The PB and Jelly shake is also a favorite!)

Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant

Location: Commissary LaneDescription: An indoor 50’s style drive in theater featuring hilarious sci-fi movies on the big screen! The atmosphere here is so fun, we were cracking up at old movies and commercials! What to get: Shrimp and Crab Fondue, Fried Dill Pickles, Buffalo Chicken Salad, Cheese Steak Sandwich, Drive-in BBQ Burger, Warm Glazed Doughnut, and Hot Fudge Sundae.

The Hollywood Brown Derby

Location: Hollywood BoulevardDescription: Contemporary American Cuisine with an old Hollywood golden age theming.What to get: Curried Butternut Squash Soup, Famous Cobb Salad, Grilled Wagyu Beef Burger, Andouille-crusted Chicken Breast, Grapefruit Cake, and Chocolate Coconut Cake

Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano

Morimoto Asia

Location: The LandingDescription: Fine Pan-Asian cuisine created by Chef Morimoto of Iron Chef America, in a modern Asian atmosphere. What to get: The Morimoto Spare Ribs are a must! We also loved the Spider and Crispy Lobster sushi rolls, Angry Chicken, Japanese A5 Wagyu Beef, Chocolate Cream & Crunch, and Melon Cream Soda Float.

Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant

Location: The LandingDescription: Modern Irish Cuisine with Irish entertainment in an authentic pub atmosphere.What to get: Nom Nom Wings, Rack of Heaven, Fish and Chips, Shepherd’s to Die for Pie, Cider Salmon, Bread & Butter Pudding, and Trifle Sinful.

Terralina Crafted Italian

Location: The LandingDescription: Incredible Italian dishes from Executive Chef Justin Plank and James Beard Award winning chef Tony Mantuano What to get: Mozzarella-stuffed Rice Balls, Bruschetta, Wood-Fired Pizzas, Spaghetti Pomodoro and Meatballs, Ravioli Gigante, Gnocchi, Chocolate Paradiso, and Chocolate-dipped Gelato Sandwich.

DISNEY RESORTS & HOTELS RESTAURANTS

Sanaa

Location: Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani VillageDescription: African and Indian style food in a unique colorful atmosphere with views of live wild animals from the windows. Night goggles are even provided after sunset. What to get: Indian-Style bread service, flavored naan breads with multiple dips (an absolute must!), today’s fish, Potjie Inspired meal (choose your food journey).

California Grill

Location: Disney’s Contemporary ResortDescription: American, Seafood cuisine. Beautiful views of Magic Kingdom and the Seven Seas Lagoon from the top of the Contemporary Resort (expert tip: make reservations to line up with fireworks times at Magic Kingdom)What to get: Fire grilled pizzas, sushi, steak and fish dinners. Everything was amazing but my personal favorite was the Grilled Pork Tenderloin.

‘Ohana

Location: Disney’s Polynesian Village ResortDescription: Hawaiian style Breakfast and Dinner. Breakfast is character dining including Lilo and Stitch! What to get: The steak and shrimp skewers, fried dumplings, cooked pineapple, and bread pudding.

Grand Floridian Cafe

Location: Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & SpaDescription: Casual American Dining with beautiful views of the rose garden, courtyards, and pool. Also a great spot to view fireworks over Magic Kingdom.What to get: Heirloom Apple Salad, House-breaded Fried Mozzarella, Buttermilk-fried Chicken, Shrimp and Grits, Chocolate Fondue, and Key Lime Pie.

Yachtsman Steakhouse

Location: Disney’s Yacht Club ResortDescription: Fine Dining, nautical theming, there is a dress code. Not a dining location I would bring my kids to. But the food is incredible! What to get: Lobster Bisque, French Onion Soup, Truffle Mac & Cheese, Prime New York Strip Steak with Peppercorn-Brandy Sauce, and Chocolate Lava Cake.
