1. Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie

You will find this French Bakery with all of its mouthwatering confections tucked away in France in Epcot’s World Showcase. Here is just a taste of the delights awaiting you at the Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie.

Napoleon

This Napoleon pastry is as delicious as it is beautiful. An almond flavored pastry cream is layered between flaky pastry sheets and then topped with white icing swirled with chocolate. Although it is widely accepted that this pastry received its name from the French emperor, Napoleon, it is not clear as to why. However, one thing is certain, every bite of this delicate pastry is absolutely divine.

Macaron

This gorgeous macaroon is filled with fresh raspberries and lime cream is fruity and fresh. The flavor is just as pleasing as the presentation. If you have a gluten allergy, this is the perfect treat for you at Epcot!

Parfait aux Fruits

A creamy yogurt mousse layered with a berry filling and topped with fresh berries. On a hot day, this parfait provides a delightfully cool and light refreshment.

Chocolate Cream Eclair

Of course, you can also find the most amazing eclairs at the Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie. This was Andie’s favorite pastry. She enjoyed it so much that we almost didn’t get a photo. The eclair is filled with a wonderful chocolate cream with a rich chocolate ganache. Vanilla White Chocolate Eclairs are also offered at the patisserie.

2. Spice Road Table

Bask in the flavors of the Mediterranean at Spice Road Table. It is located in Morocco in Epcot’s World Showcase. It is one of the most beautiful decorated Epcot restaurants with indoor and outdoor seating right on the water. These are our favorites on the menu:

Hummus and Imported Olives Appetizer

Two kinds of hummus and a variety of olives are served with a soft, herbed pita bread.

Mix Grill Skewers

Zesty marinated beef and chicken are the highlight of this entree. Tender green beans and a rice pilaf or roasted potatoes provide colorful and tasty sides.

Mediterranean Vegetable Platter

An enticing array of flavors and textures from the Mediterranean are featured on this vegetable platter with crispy Harrisa Hummus Fries, Rice-stuffed Grape Leaves topped with dried fruit, Couscous Salad, and Babaganoush with herbed Pita Bread. It is a wonderful experience to sit in the relaxing ambience and savor every bite.3. Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe The Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe is found in the land of Norway at Epcot’s World Showcase. As you enter the bakery, the sights and sounds transport you into this enchanting Scandinavian country. The cast members at the bakery are in traditional Norwegian clothing, cheery Norwegian folk music is playing in the background, and a case full of Norwegian treats is displayed to tempt each onlooker. It would be impossible to choose just one!

School Bread

School Bread, a sweet bun filled with custard and topped with coconut, is a sought after treat in Norway at Epcot’s World Showcase. The balance of sweetness between the bun and the custard is just right, not too sweet, but sweet enough to be very satisfying.

Sven’s Apple Cheesecake

This is a new offering at Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe. The cheesecake dome with apple filling is made to look just like an apple any reindeer would love. It even has a chocolate stem on top!

4. Yorkshire County Fish Shop

The Yorkshire County Fish Shop is one of the quick service Epcot restaurants. It is located in the United Kingdom at Epcot’s World Showcase. It’s right next to the bright red telephone booth as you enter the country. It is best known for the English Fish ‘n’ Chips which you can grab and eat as you sit on covered outdoor tables that overlook the World Showcase Lagoon.

English Fish ‘n’ Chips

Oh my, this is so good! Tender, flaky fish coated in a crispy batter is served over hot chips (or fries, as we call them in America). Add a little malt vinegar and dip in tartar sauce for a mouthful of yum!

5. San Angel Inn Restaurante

Inside the Mexico Pavilion at Epcot’s World Showcase is an incredible Mexican restaurant, San Angel Inn Restaurante. The relaxing atmosphere and soft lighting is so inviting after a long day in the parks. The menu offers a wide variety of Mexican dishes including Mole Poblano, Chile Relleno, and of course, tacos. However, our favorite is the Ensalada con Pollo Asado, pictured below. An all-natural grilled chicken breast is served over spinach with goat cheese crumbles, diced mango, and toasted pumpkin seeds with a lime vinaigrette dressing. It is light and full of delicious flavors and textures.Don’t skip the appetizers! The amazing Queso Fundido is pictured in the back and features melted Monterey Jack cheese served with chorizo, poblano peppers, and onions. The Guacamole is out of this world! It is topped with cilantro, mango chunks, toasted pumpkin seeds and onions and is served with chicharron (fried pork rinds) and salsa valentina.
