Zesty Italian Wrap

This Zesty Italian Wrap is one of our favorite lunchtime meals. They’re easy to assemble, perfect to pack along for whatever activity we’re planning, and taste terrific! I make them for my kids’ and husband’s lunches, and they’re always a hit. Even better, we make several of them and take along in a cooler for a day at the lake or picnics in the park. They never get soggy, they’re always flavorful, and you can make them up a million different ways. Plus they’re perfect for when you’re watching your carb intake. You can make them as healthy as you like, and they’re super satisfying.

Ingredients in an Italian Wrap

We recently became fans of Italian Sub Sandwiches toasted in the oven, but since that isn’t possible for when they go to school, I thought a wrap would be a fun way to still enjoy the flavors of the Italian meats and provolone cheese. Here’s what I use for this wrap:

How to Assemble a Wrap

Anything you like in a sandwich can be put in a lunch wrap. Lunch meats, shredded meat, cheeses, vegetables, and even peanut butter and jelly can be use in a lunch wrap. Anything goes! All you do is lay the ingredients flat on the tortilla and then roll it up. They look pretty and they’re so convenient to eat. When I am making a wrap to pack in a lunch box, I roll it up as tightly as possible and wrap it in plastic wrap. This keeps the wrap secure holds all the contents in place until its time to eat so it doesn’t get soggy. Read Next: Easy Lunch Ideas
